Basically make your icon using the templates. Place your finished images into the Expanded.psd grid that comes with IconBuilder & flatten them into 1 layer. Then use the IconBuilder filter to turn it into an icon file.

Yea, you can download the templates <a href="http://www.iconaholic.com/drop/Leopard_Folder_Icons_Template.zip" rel="nofollow">here</a>.

Add your shapes as a new layers then copy the layer effects from the existing shapes (Option drag onto your layer), & set them at the same opacity as the existing shape's layers.

These really are outstanding. Most of the custom leopard folder icons available don't come with 16x16 or 32x32 sizes to fit the leopard style. The edges end up looking very soft and don't match the default leopard folders in list view. I'd really like to solve this.

Is there any chance you could release the template you used for these so i could make some for my own for personal use.

As I said I originally made them for myself as I needed these but didn't have any plans to release them.

But I'm finding that I do want/need odd ones here & there. I've just made an Apple one & a vector one so I'll probably release these soon, & any more I make in the future.

Lovely! I've been looking for some extra folder icons in the Leopard style to extend the things I can label in an authentic-looking manner, and these are extremely good. Just what I was after.

A few more would be nice, though. A folder icon for games/diversions would be good (maybe it could have a pacman and/or ghost on it - or perhaps the four card suit symbols?). And I'd appreciate a folder with the Adobe logo on it for CS3, which only has a generic folder at present. Maybe a folder with the Apple logo on it would also be very handy. There are lots of possibilities, obviously. Classic Mac OS used to have lots of special folder icons (for preferences, control panels etc.) and it might be nice to take a few ideas from some of those. OS X just doesn't have the same range.

But those are just a few thoughts. What you've done here is great, so it'd be nice to see more of the same. Thanks!
