It successfully removed the crap, but Google kept on reporting bad links to feeds of posts I&#039;d deleted in the past (no longer wanted). Nothing was linking to them &amp; as far as I could tell they didn&#039;t exist. There were lots of these &amp; I couldn&#039;t find any way of fixing them.</description>

The problem is because someone hacked your blog. Google and Firefox recognise these new links added to your code. They usually have weird names and some are actual files.

The easiest way tound this is to delete the site and upload a backup copy, then follow the links in firefox (the one with the red warning) and you can then contact google to have your site removed from the list.

Attacks like this happen with most content management systems.
