Custom Leopard Folder Icons

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

I made some custom Leopard folder icons for myself a few months ago, & had no intention of releasing them. But a few people have been asking me where I got them/can they have them etc.

Time Machine button in the Finder Toolbar

Friday, December 7th, 2007

I wanted to have a Time Machine button in the Finder Toolbar & be able to activate it from there.

Makes more sense to have one there & get rid of the icon in the dock to me (I usually use Quicksilver to invoke it).

Quicksilver UI – First version of Bezel working.

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007

Ankur Kothari (from Vacuous Virtuoso) has agreed to make the Quicksilver UI from the mockups I made :)

Here’s the first version of the actual UI plugin that he’s made up & running (not a mockup).

Update 23/9/07:

Here’s the latest version.

Quicksilver Bezel Pro UI v2

There are a few changes needed but overall I think it’s a great start.

Apparently it’s not possible to make the results list like that in my mockup for the current version. But it might be possible once a new version of Quicksilver for Leopard is released.

New Quicksilver UI

Saturday, July 21st, 2007

I posted a mockup I made of a UI I’d like to see for Quicksilver on flickr.

I looked into making it & found that it looked possible, but haven’t had the time to have a go at it.

Anyway, someone has contacted me saying they’d like to have a go at it. So hopefully it’ll see the light of day in the future :)

Custom SafariStand icons

Sunday, August 20th, 2006

A few people have asked me where I got the custom ‘New Tab’, ‘Stand Sidebar’ & ‘Action’ icons from for SafariStand. I made them as I thought the existing ones were fugly.
